Tour Guide (M/F/X) – Beer House Tours in Cologne

Who We Are

The Kölsch Crew stands for genuine beer house experiences in Cologne. Our tours are more than just sightseeing – they are a piece of Cologne with heart, humor and, of course, Kölsch. We combine tradition, enjoyment and great stories, led by experienced guides. We are all about community: Whether local guests or visitors from all over the world – everyone quickly becomes a friend with us.

Your Tasks

• You guide guests in German, English or other languages through the cozy beer houses in the old town, the Südstadt or around Friesenplatz.
• You passionately tell stories about Kölsch, about the respective beer houses and about the city of Cologne – from the Kölsch purity law to the carnival.
• You hold exciting tours regardless of the weather or season; our tours take place in any weather.
• You give guests space to enjoy the Kölsch. A tasting is possible, but not mandatory.
• You moderate groups (approx. 10–20 people) safely and ensure a good atmosphere.
• At special events (e.g. company celebrations), you playfully promote team spirit – our beer house tours “turn colleagues into a real team“.

What We Want

• You love Cologne – whether you are an immigrant or a native of Cologne.
• You are reliable, punctual, organize yourself independently and keep even larger groups under control.
• You have an open charisma, enjoy approaching people and passionately telling stories.
• You speak fluent German or English; other languages are a plus.
• First experiences as a guide, in gastronomy or the event industry are an advantage, but not a requirement.
• You are willing to constantly expand your knowledge of Kölsch, Cologne and its traditions.
