World Cup mode – how a legend is made

Each edition of Schnick Schnack Schluck is its own World Cup. 64 players face off in a knockout format – CLASSIC mode: rock, paper, scissors.

Play continues up to the final in best-of-5, with the final in best-of-7. Time-outs, mental coaches, and tactical stalling are all part of the ritual. Players are called to the battle mat – and that’s where everything is decided in seconds.

The World Cup winner takes home 10 crates of Gaffel Kölsch. Second place gets a 5-liter party keg. But even more important is the entry in the annals of World Cup history.

The big annual final – the road to World Champion

At the end of the year comes the big final tournament. This is where the year’s World Cup winners and runners-up face each other – with seeded starting spots (round of 16 or round of 32). But: Anyone can take part.

This final tournament decides the title: World Champion of the Year. Only those with nerves of steel, tactical finesse, and perfect timing get to claim it.

No fighting name, no fight

Every player needs an official fighting name. Because on the battle mat, your ID doesn’t matter – your legend does. Whether it’s “Rock Hammer,” “Paper Tiger,” or “Scissor Klaus” – history is written here.

And when Big Mike steps into the ring, everyone knows: now it’s serious.
